What do the real estate industry and ambient scent have in common? For one thing, the leading experts in both industries were together in Salt Lake City last week to attend BOMA 2019 — the Building Owners and Managers Association Conference. BOMA presents an opportunity to explore the latest innovative products and services designed to make commercial properties run more efficiently.

Visitors who stopped by our booth to experience “The Power of Scent,” discovered how to create a positive first impression for their current and potential tenants. We were also proud to sponsor this year’s Relaxation Retreat featuring subtle spa-like scenting, providing another opportunity for them to enjoy “The Fragrance Factor” during their complimentary massage.

“BOMA 2019 was awesome. It was personally rewarding to be able to speak directly to the attendees about scent marketing and the key role it can play in the overall experience and enhancement to their property.”

Dean Wilson, Southeast Region Sales Executive, Prolitec

Many real estate experts have already caught on to this growing trend. We have helped commercial properties, such as Houston’s Parkway Properties, incorporate fragrance into their lobbies to build familiarity and enhance comfort. It is delivered using our high-tech diffuser which controls the distribution of the scent uniformly based on the size of the space and its airflow. Our team helps commercial property owners and managers evaluate their brand and select just the right scent for their space.

“By taking a look at the five senses, we wanted to make sure we were doing everything
we could in our campuses to create a good first, second, and lasting impression.
The technology around scent is helping us to advance that.”

Mike Fransen, chief operating officer at Parkway Properties

We can’t wait to join BOMA again next year and continue growing this trend in the commercial real estate industry.

“The response at BOMA 2019 again proved that property managers and commercial real estate in general sees the value in how scent can elevate brands and enhance the tenant experience.”

Jeff Sneed, VP of Global Sales, Prolitec
